Meta Centre was established in 1986 as a direct-service branch of Meta Foundation. In 2011, we proudly celebrated Meta Centre’s 25th year of serving the special-needs population. We were also granted charitable status by Canada Revenue Agency : Charitable Registration Number is – 11890 2717 RR0001

Meta Centre was established as the operational body of the original organization, EOH Meta Foundation. Meta Centre then successfully pursued funding from the Ministry of Community and Social Services, and EOH Meta Foundation re-formulated itself into a successful fundraising body for Meta Centre.

Our services are tailored to respect and meet the individual needs of people with developmental disabilities, including those persons with dual diagnoses and multiple disabilities. These are provided through our multi-lingual Day & Respite Services, Supported Independent Living, Residential Services and Social Work Services.
