The Meta Centre currently operates six day program locations in the Greater Toronto Area:

Vaughan
Richmond Hill
Scarborough (3 sites)
Participants are empowered to choose a schedule of activities that focus on enhancing their quality of life. In-class instruction is provided on subjects chosen by participants and curriculums are designed by staff to reflect the appropriate skill level and interest of participant. Integration activities assist individuals to become aware and use community resources such as grocery stores, libraries, personal shopping, and volunteer outlets such as Goodwill, Meals-on-Wheels or food banks.
Recreation and leisure offers health, fitness and fun that includes nature walks, theatres, visiting historical sites, festivals, community centres, exhibits, museums, aquatic centres and participating in bocce, basketball, baseball, floor hockey and volleyball tournaments.
Our day programs also have options available for supported work experience, competitive work experience, in-house training such food handling and preparation in our cafeteria, maintenance and reception and office skills. We also provide holistic health therapies such as: chair massage; aromatherapy; Yoga; physiotherapy; reflexology; Reiki; sensory and Snoezelen therapies.
