The Meta Centre, its staff, volunteers and governors uphold the intrinsic worth of all individuals and affirms that the care its clientele receive is respectful, non-discriminatory and that its high standards of care ensure well-being, security and the right to self-determination with due regard for others. The Meta Centre employs approximately 135 full-time and 200 part-time employees. We are determined to attract and retain professional staff who are among the most qualified and dedicated in the sector.
Among our full-time staff, those working in our Day Programs require a degree or a diploma in a relevant field. Our SIL staff require a degree in psychology or a related field. Our social workers require a Bachelor of Social Work degree, and our Residential Services staff require a background and experience in developmental services.
All our employees are subject to professional reference checks and police reference checks, and a completed medical examination.
